Well, cutting out at the moment really.
But I'm doing it ALL BY MYSELF.
With no one else around at all.
Woohoo!
Hubby and his brother have taken themselves and the boys off to the Melbourne Grand Prix for the afternoon.
I get a whole 5 hours to myself!
So I am making upon request....
A Great White Shark.
Well two of them of course, how could I POSSIBLY make something for only ONE of my boys?
Ahh, the peace and quiet.
I can feel my batteries charging.
Oh la la la, it's luverly!

We'll need to see pictures of finished items sewn in blissful silence, please!
Well, I got as far as sewing one halfway round, nearly ready to be stuffed. All the fins, side and top, were a bit trickier to put in than I thought, as I'm not using a pattern, just making it up as i go along. But house sitting starts tomorrow and I'm bringing my sewing machine as I'll actually have somewhere to leave it set up and an enormous cutting out bench. Woohoo!
How amazing! I'm terrible at the sewing machine and it is only pulled out in cases of extreme emergency and the occasional blip that turns out to be "what WERE you thinking...."
I can feel the happy and contented vibes from over here, even though it was a day ago! :)
Such BLISS. All by yourself you lucky thing! Bet you felt so calm and relaxed being able to hear yourself think as you sewed.
